Forbidden Archeology – Secret Discoveries of Early Man!

.

The 7 edged star mystery in Volda, Western Norway

On Friday the 30th of november 2007, a concstruction worker discovered a 7 edged drilling hole on the base of a mountain during construction work on a new parking lot. So far, it appears that no one has seen a hole similar to the 7 edged star, or have been able to explain how it was made.

Various newspapers, both local and national, have been trying to find the solution, but none have succeeded.

Geologists, scientists and drilling engineers across the country have been contacted, but so far no one has come up with an answer to how this hole was made.

The hole was found by a constructionworker working on removing bits from the mountain in order to make room for a buildingproject. After digging a couple of metres into the mountain, chopping out large pieces of rock, he noticed a strange starshaped hole in two of the boulders.

The hole went further on down into through the ground, with a 20-30 degrees downward angle. Unfortunately the hole was covered with mud, and has not yet been recovered. But according to those who saw it, it too was in the shape of a 7 edged star.

Approximately 4 metres of the hole was dug out from the mountain. On top of the mountain was a layer of clay and dirt, which according to neighbours have never been touched.

The last time there was any construction activity in the area was back in the 50s, when part of the mountain was blown off to create parkingspaces. Either way, the hole was found several metres inside the edge of the area where earlier construction took place.

The inside of the hole is completely smooth, and it has a perfect 7 edged symmetric shape all the way through. The hole runs straight through the sedimentlayers, not parallel.

Many different theories have been presented on the origin of the hole. Some have suggested divine intervention, UFO`s, weathering mineral ores, hammerdrills and unbalanced drilling heads. But so far no one has been able to show reference to similar holes.

If you have any information on how a hole such as this may have been made, or if you have seen any similar rock holes, please make contact with reporter Kjell Arne Steinsvik/Møre Nytt (steinsvik@volda.org / phone: (+47)900 74 785)

Christmas time – We share our love with friends/family, and get lots of gifts. So why aren’t we all joyous? What the hell is going on?

Forget the self-help books. No book or person can promise you happiness.

.

Christmas time is the most likely time of the year to experience depression. We share our love with friends and family, and get lots of gifts. So why aren’t we all joyous? What the hell is going on?

Did you ever wonder why people like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson didn’t fare any better than you or I despite all their money, fame, and access to people of wisdom?

The answer lies in your own backyard. Look at the shrubs, tangled with vines, with here and there a sumac jutting out from the maze. Look at the pines pressed against the shingles for want of more sunlight, their roots reaching under the house to the length of 20 feet. In an effort to maintain themselves, I have known willows near the foundation to break into the cellar pipes for want of water.

What is a tree, after all, but a trunk with so many roots and leaves bringing food and water to the organism? After billions of years of evolution, it was inevitable that life would acquire the ability to locomote, to hunt and see, to protect itself from competitors. Observe the ants in the woodpile. They can engage in combat just as resolutely as any human. Our guns and ICBMs are merely the jaws of a more clever ant.

The goal of life is life. Every impulse and thought is a device developed towards that end. Consider our own species. We hunt and gather, do the dishes, and have sex. By day and night, we are serenaded by the notes of Beethoven modulating over the trump of the bullfrogs and the songs of the mating bird. Even poetry and art reflect our humanity and are impelled by instincts – by forms of fear and powerlessness, of pugnacity and mastery, of association and love.

To many creatures there are but a few necessities of life: food, water, shelter. To a bumblebee, these are a few flowers full of nectar. Even humankind is led by these primary drives, although we have invented not only the house and clothing but fire to cook our food. What pains we take during the holidays, with our mincemeat pies and rum cakes. The poor are wont to complain that they have no food for their families, and we devote a great deal of our economy to agriculture and housing.

Of course, the effort for self-preservation is vague and varied. There is, for instance, the need for understanding and knowledge to guide our emotions, to tame the beast in our animal nature. What shameless and chaotic lives many of us would live if we were not awakened by better desires from within.

Our behavior is motivated by needs and wants. Pleasure and pain consist in the extent to which these desires are satisfied or hindered. “Pleasure” according to Spinoza, one of the greatest philosophers of all time “is man’s transition from a lesser state of perfection to a greater. Pain is man’s transition from a greater state of perfection to a lesser.”

Here is a goal – completeness and power – that is wonderfully attractive to us at a time of recession, and when many lack the means to feed and clothe themselves. And when we have found all power, we may not be happier for it. When we have overcome our struggles and have no ambitions and no defeats, what do we do next? Build taller and more splendid houses, weave finer clothing? Where does the power to act come from when desire has been quieted?

Have you ever wondered why every TV show, movie, and book has villains? Every writer knows that the good guy has to be threatened somehow, perhaps chased by someone with a gun or an ax. Even Cinderella had an evil stepmother and had to sit in the cinders after she finished her work. Meeting the Prince just wouldn’t have been the same if she had been a spoiled little rich girl.

The keenest pleasures are for those who experience the keenest pain.

You can’t change the equation of life. And remember, while the world is celebrating the holiday season, if you’re depressed and have the blues it’s just money in the bank. And when your turn comes, spend it on something that you will be proud of.

Robert Lanza, MD worked with (and published a series of scientific papers with) the late Harvard psychologist B.F. Skinner, the father of modern behaviorism. His new book – Biocentrism – lays out his theory of everything.

Shower your way to success!

Mind-Bending Facts About Dreams

How to Produce Big Ideas on Demand

Freeing your mind to think in an innovative way can be as easy as jumping in the shower.

What if we told you that you could come up with a great idea anytime you wanted?

We’ll go further. We can show you how not only to summon new and innovative concepts on command but also to teach your people the same skill. This may sound like an infomercial, but it’s true.

The five techniques outlined below have one thing in common: They free your brain to let your best ideas flow.

As it is, you undoubtedly have too much on your mind. When you’re driving during rush hour, you are too busy dealing with traffic to notice the scenery and enjoy the ride. The following practices eliminate mental traffic and help you liberate the great ideas inside you desperately trying to get out.

1. Shower your way to creativity.

Yep, it’s absolutely true. There is a scientific theory that water hitting your head helps trigger the synapses and that’s why people get great ideas in the shower. But we think it’s simpler than that: The ideas occur because you are not making an effort to think. You aren’t worried about anything. You are not stressed. Hence some of your best thinking occurs.

2. Sleep on it.

Remember how your mom used to say, “Why don’t you sleep on it, honey?” when you were wrestling with a big issue? Well, when it comes to big ideas and problem solving, Mother really does know best.

The next time you want to solve a major challenge or be unusually brilliant, think about it in bed. Don’t push yourself to figure out the answer before you fall asleep. Instead, just go through the issues at hand and tell yourself that you will have the answer in the morning. In our experience, this technique amplifies the power of the shower, because there are even fewer distractions to occupy your mind when you are asleep.

You can employ an alternate version of this while awake. The next time you can’t think of a name, date, or important fact, just tell yourself aloud, “I will not think about this for a while, and the answer will come to me.” This technique clears the traffic in your mind and lets your subconscious go to work. Your answer will often pop into your head the moment you stop “thinking about it.”

3. Engage in mind-mapping

Purging is a great way to make new connections and create bigger ideas. Have a tough challenge to solve? Get a giant piece of paper (write small if you can’t find one). In each quarter of the paper, write a keyword related to the challenge. For example, if you want to plan a cool family vacation, you might write the words “destinations,” “transportation,” “memories,” and “kids.”

Then, in no particular order, begin to brainstorm any word that comes to mind when you think of each of the keywords. For example, for “Transportation”: plane, train, automobile, John Candy, pillows, sleep, sleeping bag, tent, treehouse, memories, dreams, daydreams, smells, popcorn, movies, adventure, pirates, islands, Swiss Family Robinson. Eventually, you will begin to make connections, and ideas that unify the key aspects of your goal will pop off the page.

Strive for as many words as you can, and don’t judge the words. Judging is looking at the traffic when you are driving—it keeps you from coming up with ideas. Eliminate the traffic.

You can employ this simple technique yourself or do it in groups to loosen up your team. Imagine how much fun you’ll have explaining to your family how you came up with the idea of renting a tree house for your vacation in Costa Rica.

4. Schedule Your Daydreaming

We all have a time of day when our brains work the best. For many, it is first thing in the morning, before rush hour. Unfortunately, the CrackBerry addiction has many of us checking our e-mail just when our brains are the most capable of creating.

The moment you check your e-mail, voice mail, or to-do list, you have hijacked your imagination. You have created a mental traffic jam. Do yourself a favor and schedule daydreaming. Unplug during the time that you know you do your best thinking and find a place that makes you feel energized. A lot of people love the local coffee shop. The buzz of conversation, the smells, colors, and energy create a safe haven for the mind to wander. Some prefer the library or the park. Whichever it is, go there. Let your mind wander.

5. Yuk it up.

Laughing is another great way to liberate your brain. Often consciously doing silly-seeming things will get the creative juices flowing. Spin a top. Get an ice cream cone.

As you test these five techniques, you’ll find some work better than others. If it turns out you really do get your best ideas in the shower, be conscious of the circumstances under which they occurred. What was the water temperature like? How long had you been in there? What time was it? Replicate the experience.

You’ll find the effort worthwhile. “The bottom line is that gifted performers are almost always made, not born, and that the journey to superior performance is for neither the faint of heart nor the impatient,” says Rand Stagen, senior partner of Stagen, a management consulting firm that specializes in helping mid-market companies scale. “Just as in sports, becoming an elite performer in business requires struggle, sacrifice, and honest (often painful) self-assessment. Depending on the scope and difficulty of the skill to be learned, it will take months and probably years to achieve a high level of proficiency or mastery.”

Learning how to implement these approaches is often what separates a brilliant thinker from a creative want-to-be. Really. At first, you may feel silly, but we promise they will work.

“Who is really in charge of our life and our world?”

Who really have the say and authority in your life (world)? Who is and have been creating your life experiences since early childhood up to now? Many of us have been playing the role of a victim for so many years that we are unable to recall who allocated this (victim) role to us. The question that we need to answer is, “Who is really in charge of our life and our world?” It is important to remember that everyone is a creator in his/her own right. Everyone is thus the ruler of their own world and circumstances. It is vital to understand that it is unacceptable to allow anyone to impose his/her ideas, will and creations on to us and our world. This is how we become the slave of those that enforce their will (scripts) on us and take over our domain.

Are you fun to have around, is a question that you need to answer.

You carry within you the seed of a fresh start and new beginning when you arrive on this plane. You must nourish this seedling with waters of love and wisdom. Most people take the game of life far too serious. The key to a successful and joy filled life is to build laughter and light heartedness into everything you do. We start life with enthusiasm and unbridled playfulness. This spontaneity soon makes way for gloom and fear. We become so absorbed in the game of life that we neglect to visit the place in our heart where the child in us still live and play. Our ego or false self is forever busy comparing our performance, the way we look and the outcomes we achieve with those around us. We perceive the world out there as our mirror. We personalise everything.

Most of us are exposed a world of duality early in our lives. We are brainwashed into believing that God are using some scoring system. There is a perception that He has so little to do that He sits around twenty-four hours a day checking up on our dedication and sin levels. There is an impression that the only way that we dare to be happy and spontaneous is when we do what God and society expect from us. Many of us fail more often than we succeed and “sin” more often than we would like to. We feel that it will be hypocritical to experience and project happiness and joy while we seem to perform far below the high-required standards set for us by God and society.

We smile and laugh less and cry and cringe more as the years slip by. Many of us reach a stage where our child hardly ever emerges from his dungeon. The child in us can see, hear and feel our activities, but do not dare to make an appearance. This whole process is a trap and designed with control in mind. Many of us end up morbid robots. The system is so clever that it uses its current slaves (you and me) to breed the future slaves that they will then milk fo taxes and use as cannon fodder in their greed and ego driven wars. We must bring back the child in us if we want to enjoy our day-today activities, relationships and the work we do.

Are you fun to have around, is a question that you need to answer. Another question we need to answer is, “Do I want to win or would I rather make the project or relationship work to everybody’s advantage? Happiness is always a sign of a new beginning. Our perfect self is always happy while our false self seem to enjoy playing the role of a victim.
