I WILL DO THE THINGS I FEAR UNTIL IT LOSES ITS HOLD ON MY MIND!

WHAT PAIN OR PLEASURE WE LINK TO SITUATIONS AND PEOPLE DETERMINES HOW WE ACT AND REACT TO THEM. WE CANNOT ACT IN A MANNER THAT PROVOKES PAIN IN PEOPLE AND EXPECT RESPECT, LOVE AND COMPASSION FROM THEM!

People move towards pleasure provoking experiences and away from pain provoking experiences. They move towards people that make them feel good and away from people that make them feel worthless and defective. This law must always be kept in mind if you want to influence people in a positive manner.

It will be idiotic to constantly say and do things that cause somebody pain and expect loyalty and dedication from such person. How can you kick a person in the teeth and expect him or her to love and respect you. We might not always physically kick people, but some of the things we do, fail to do or say often cause more pain than a kick in the teeth.

Everything you do or refrain from doing is governed by your perception you have of such event. If you for example find it difficult to motivate yourself to do something that you know need to be done you will find “potential pain avoidance” at the root of you resistance. We usually select the potential pleasure route in all our actions and decisions. If we have any idea that we might be exposed to potentially pain we try our level best avoid such contacts.

Just think for a moment about this principle. When you see or think of certain people what reaction do they evoke in you? If a person activates any level of discomfort in you, you will always react and respond accordingly. An opinion is formed quickly and usually takes years to modify. Most people lives their live according to this law or principal. Once they formed a perception about something or someone it takes a massive jolt to dislodge perceptions. Because we are pleasure seeking entities we tend to run on tracks for the best part of our lives. We thus get stuck in a pattern and will continue to follow this path until the day we expire.

Leaders and champions are bold enough to break these patterns and confront their fears. They know that mediocre and substandard performances are caused by the avoidance of potential pain. You can never grow, learn and win while you remain in your comfort zone. It is only when you go beyond your comfort threshold that progress can be made.

 .

I WILL BECOME OUTCOME FOCUSED TODAY. I WILL DO THE THINGS I FEAR UNTIL IT LOSES ITS HOLD ON MY MIND!

.

We often know what we need or want in life, but we hardly ever do something about it. The main reason for this is because we amplify the potential pain so much that it outweighs the potential pleasure that reaching our goal would provide us.

If you want to stop smoking or lose weight you have to make your perceived “outcome” so exciting and pleasure provoking that it will make the effort that will be needed to work through the potential pain part less dominant. You will never reach your desired objective while the fear of the pain outweighs the potential pleasure of the outcome. It is thus imperative that you desire your outcome more than the obstacle that you may encounter along the way. Only when you become excited and motivated about your outcome will you have enough staying power to hang in until the objective (pleasure) is achieved.

If you want to become influential, you will have to learn to use this law to your advantage. You will make it easy for people to be with you and do business with you. You will say and do things that will activate expectations of potential pleasure not pain. All your actions and reactions must show people that you respect their point of view and that you are there to help them to achieve their own objectives. Always remember that most people you deal with are running on preconceived tracks or perceptions.

LOVE alone cannot overcome inherent defective and contaminated CORE CAUSES.

.

Many of us frequently go through RELATIONSHIP problems or we would love to FIND a more satisfying relationship than our current existing relationship. We often enrol in relationship building programs, read books about relationship building, cry on family members shoulders, meditate under waterfalls and learn why the author claim that woman are from VENUS and men from MARS. All these efforts are usually to no avail. The reason why strategies and methods fail to produce sustained SUCCESSFUL outcomes is because we remain focused on the outcomes we desire and forget that the CORE CAUSES need to be addressed. This is the main reason why relationship repairs after ugly disputes that sometimes ended up in separations or divorce often soon return. All the good intentions in the world cannot be sustained until the CORE CAUSES are address and removed. LOVE alone cannot overcome inherent defective and contaminated CORE CAUSES. Relationships can only be repaired and sustained if both parties address and rectify the fundamental CORE CONTAMINATION that they import into their RELATIONSHIP.

Learn from your mistake, point your vehicle of life’s nose in the right direction and push hard on the petrol pedal of your vehicle.

.

.

Some of us one day wake up to the fact that we might have been travelling in the wrong direction away from our desired destiny. The solution would be to turn your vehicle of life around and readjust your course, but that is often easier set than done. They have a saying in sport when a player loose form or fail to play at his/her full potential. The trainer often tells the player to return to basics for a while. We are sometimes so busy making a living, fighting the good fight to be a good provider or mother that we go on auto pilot and speed along on the highway of life without noticing that we are travelling in the wrong direction. We sometimes only wake up to mistakes when we are many miles away from our desired course.

The biggest mistake we can make when we discover that we are speeding along in the wrong direction is to implode or start telling ourselves that we are some kind of idiot. There is nothing wrong with you now and there was never anything wrong with you in the past. We all make countless mistakes while we play the game of life. There is nothing wrong with mistakes. We learn and gain experience when we make mistakes. This is how knowledge turn into wisdom. The bigger the mistake the higher its educational value. You could slow down, park your vehicle of life and cry over the time, money and opportunities you have lost while you travelled in the wrong direction or you can learn from your mistake, point your vehicle of life’s nose in the right direction and push hard on the petrol pedal of your vehicle. You will soon feel the wind in your hair while you gather speed toward your destiny.

We need to see mistakes that we make as stepping stones. We must see them as valuable tools that teach us wonderful lessons. We usually recover faster when we learn from our mistakes and get back in the game of life quickly. We should not see our detours as disasters where we lost valuable time. We should see these detours as opportunities to uncover the stuff that is not working to our advantage. We might feel depleted and defeated after one of our setbacks or mistakes, but also soon discover that new fresh energy and enthusiasm soon fill the void left by our negative and destructive thought patterns.

The universe did not send you to earth dimension to fail. It sent you on your current mission to learn and to grow. The universe (God) is always watching your progress and rejoice when you learn from a mistake and start moving towards your destiny again. The universe do not always intervene when you make mistakes because you have free will and came to learn and to grow. The universe will never allow you to face obstacles that you are not equipped to overcome.

When people disappoint/manipulate/use you, they present you with wonderful opportunities to grow/mature and to become love.

.

Humans enjoy playing board or computer games, provided the games are difficult and there are obstacles. We enjoy planning, scheming, being tested and challenged in order to finish the game. The challenges and obstacles make the game enjoyable and hook us to play for hours. Life would be senseless and meaningless without problems, hardships, setbacks and obstacles. Without the crises we experience, we will not appreciate the successes or peak experiences. The Chinese symbol forcrisis comprises two characters, namely danger and opportunity. Every crisis may elicit feelings of apprehension, but it also presents an opportunity for change, growth and self-mastery. We do not always understand why certain difficult people come into our life, but there are no coincidences.

We do not always believe or accept that every person comes into our lives for a reason. We do not make mistakes or poor decisions because everything that happens to us, happens for a purpose and can be perceived as a lesson. The universe will present you with the problems and challenges that you need for your spiritual growth. Every situation, especially the adverse situations, is an opportunity to learn and to discover who you really are. If people betray or hurt you, it may be to teach you about trust or forgiveness. When faced with adversity, you have the opportunity to develop qualities such as inner strength, courage, resilience, self-discipline, willpower and resourcefulness. When people disappoint, manipulate or use you, they present you with opportunities to control your temper, to transcend your ego and to develop qualities such as patience, tolerance, unconditional love or forgiveness. Difficult people give you the opportunity to behave pro-actively and to access more light in order to attain self-mastery.

YOUR INVISIBLE BOUNDARIES – Are pleasant and easy to be with?

.

PASSPORT

.

I don’t know if you like me sometimes suffer with temporary blindness. When I look back I often fail to understand how I could have ignored the glaring signals that should have warned me that I am about to make a poor choice.

The key to success in any area of your life is locked up in the ability to “read” subliminal messages or signals during work or play. We often are so focused on what a person is saying that we fail to see the pain or loneliness in his or her eyes.

Have we become so self-centred that we find it impossible to detect the silent calls for help from friends, family and even strangers? When you learn to not only hear, but also “feel” what others are saying or hiding from you, you have mastered the art of communication. Many couples claim that they can “feel” when there is something wrong in their relationship even if there are no visible signs of a threat. It is not what their partners say or fail to express that warns them of potential problems, but a subjective feeling that warns them that something is unbecoming.

I have met a large number of people that lived the best part of their lives in a total fog. The fog never lifts from their ability to detect needs of anyone, but their own. If you want to really live and experience life to the full you must develop your ability to feel the pulse of things around you. When you master the art of really listening you are half way there.

Most people love to hear the sound of their own voices. Become really focused, listen with compassion and discover the subliminal signals that that your emotional radios are unable to pick up at this stage. When you “tune in” to others you get to know the real person behind the mask. You discover the person without his facades and games.

YOUR INVISIBLE BOUNDARIES

When you study a map of the world, you soon become very aware of the boundaries that demarcate the various countries. These boundaries have caused some of the bloodiest wars in the short history of man on this planet. You usually need some kind of passport or document to move from one territory to the next. If you do not have the right documents, you can land yourself in serious trouble.

What I often find astounding is that most people do not define their boundaries clearly enough. They expect people to guess their way to success. There are certain people that allow friends and strangers to cross their emotional boundaries without too much problems or discomfort. You usually know how they think and feel about things. You can set up relaxed relationships with such people and hardly ever experience any discomfort while you inhabit their territory. They are pleasant and easy to be with. You can develop warm friendships with this type of individual. Their emotional boundaries are usually not posted a million miles from their hearts and minds in an attempt keep potential pain away.

On the other hand, you get individuals that post their boundaries a million miles from their hearts and minds. They usually make it as difficult as possible for people to cross over into their emotional territory. If you do not have the right “passport”, you are stopped at their border posts and sent away with empty hands. They guard their territory with suspicion and doubt. They want a clear well defined reason for your visit and will not hesitate to deport you from their emotional territory when they experience the slightest discomfort. They are not easy to be with. They are difficult to communicate with and need constant justification for everything you say and do. They tend to jump to conclusions and make your stay in their territory a taxing experience.

Emotional maturity and confidence allows you to throw open your territory to everybody. People will love to visit you in your territory and will in turn invite you to share their territory as well. The key is to become emotionally secure and to make it as easy as possible for people to be with you.
