You can sit in the waiting room of life forever or you can become an active player.

.

DO YOU HAVE A “WAIT” PROBLEM? – A WAIT PROBLEM IS REALLY A DISCONNECT BETWEEN WHAT IS TRULY POSSIBLE AND WHAT YOU WILL LET YOURSELF RECEIVE!

.

WHEN WILL YOU MOVE FORWARD? Do you feel that you are sitting in the “waiting room” of life, waiting for happiness, love, the green light, better times or a bridge to appear? Can it be that you are waiting for courage, permission, your turn, zero risk, the right moment or a sign or guarantee?

Sometimes waiting is a cover for fear, self-doubt, unworthiness and not taking responsibility. This habit of waiting is a common block to happiness, love and success. There is no rational reason to wait, happiness, success and love is waiting for you. They await your choice, your acceptance and a sign from you. For as long as you wait, you cannot see what is already possible if you get up and pursue you selected objectives.

When you wait for things to happen you are giving up all control. You hope and dream things will by accident fall into you lap or come your way. When you wait you disconnect between what is truly possible and what you will let yourself receive. When you wait you are like a person that put his or her life on hold. The world is waiting for you muster up enough courage to become active and do something about your objective, goals and dreams. Most of us are impatient and hates to wait for in queues or waiting rooms. Why are we then so inclined to put our lives on hold when it comes to the most important things in our lives?

RELATIONSHIPS: Relationships suffer because people wait for things to improve and get almost perfect before they make a commitment. What people fail to understand is that relationships are always under construction. There is always work in progress.

If you are going to wait until your “relationship” is perfect and pristine you will wait forever. Have you ever thought how your indecisiveness is possibly the major reason why you are not really making progress? You must actually get into the water before you will get wet. You can stare at the water all day long, but only when you jump in will you be able to really find out what it is really like.

While you are sitting on the fence no progress will be made either. How can you ever enjoy your relationship if you continue to sit in your protective little castle, waiting for your potential lover to break down your heavily reinforced walls? When you do this you are not really in the game; you are not a member of the club. All you are is a critical spectator. You need to dive in and get wet or accept the crumbs that life throw at you from time to time.

LONELY? People are lonely because they wait for love instead of being loving. They wait for friendship instead of being a friend. If you are not happy with your social life then you will have to look how “available” you are to individuals that might be interested to enjoy your company? If you are hiding in your flat or home with the curtains drawn you will continue to be lonely for the rest of your life. If you have built invisible walls around yourself you should not be too surprised when people pass you by.

If you have a nasty personality that repels people you will remain isolated and lonely. When you make it difficult for people to be with you, you will gather cobwebs in your self-imposed exile. You are a walking and talking advertisement who you are and what you stand for. You can instantly repel potential interest without even saying a word with a bad attitude or if you go around with a chip on your shoulder.

WORK? You have a lack of team spirit because everybody is waiting for the team spirit to get better. Nothing will change until the team member stop waiting for the team spirit to get better and do something about it. Nothing will get better or improve while the various staff member sit in their boxes and wait for others to make the first move.

PREMATURE AGEING? People age prematurely because they postpone their happiness. They promise that they will have fun after work, after chores, after the bills are paid, after retirement and after the grandkids are settled. Life passes you by when you are constantly in a standby or waiting mode. If you think that you will one day begin to live and enjoy life when everything is perfect or taken care of you are in for a nasty surprise.

They might one day write on your tombstone “Here lays the word’s biggest spectator, born 1952 – died 1990 and buried in 2018

.

SILLY CONFLICTS? Silly conflicts last forever because both parties wait to get what they will not give. Each party waits for the other to make the first move. Many relationships flushed down the toilet because one or both parties waited that the other would admit his or her mistake, faults, shortcomings and endless love. Waiting in relationships cause serious confusion and results in bitter conflicts. As indicated above you either dive in and get wet or quit. You cannot wait and hope that your partner will entertain and love you if you are nothing more than a spectator.

Willingness inspires readiness. With readiness all things are possible. Be ready and allow yourself to receive. Be ready and let yourself be guided, be helped, be inspired and be loved. You must become willing to get involved in the game of life or it will pass you by like a thief in the night. You need to get involved and become a player and not a spectator.

People are not out there to entertain you. They will not break down the door of your castle and beg you to come out and play. You might feel safe behind your walls and enjoy the infrequent attempts to lure you out of your hiding place, but will discover that the interested parties usually loose interest and go to the unguarded house.

You can sit in the waiting room of life forever or you can become an active player. Look around you and notice the other people in this waiting room. Their hair is grey and their skins look like a deflated rugby ball. Some of them have been waiting for more than eighty years for love, respect, friendship and fun to come their way. What they failed to realise all these years is that life is not a waiting game, but a game where you need to play your heart out if you want to taste the good things in life.

Cowards are afraid to act because they fear failure.

To accomplish (1) great things we must not only act (2), but also dream (3), not only plan (4), but also believe (5).

Anatole France

The word accomplish is not always fully understood by people. The word (1) accomplish signifies to finish, complete or bring something to an end. You cannot claim that you accomplished your goal or objective if you do not bring something to a successful conclusion. Most people are excellent at starting things, but the real winners in life understand that without completion there is no reason to celebrate.

You might plant your seeds in the garden of life, but if you fail to follow through you will not reap the fruit of your labour. Everything that is worthwhile accomplishing starts with a dream (3). Most of the wonderful inventions you see around you today started with an idea in the head of someone. When the idea is transformed into a dream it is given the opportunity to materialize. Most people allow their ideas and dreams to die unceremoniously in their heads.

Most of the most brilliant inventions never got past the dream stage because their owners never acted (2) on their inspirations. The best books were never written because the potential authors could not summon up enough courage to write the first page. If you want to make your dreams a reality you need to think up a plan (4) to take it past the dream stage.

Only a few people get past their own negative self-talk. Most people do not have the courage and fortitude to take something through to a successful conclusion. Friends and family are excellent flaw finders, but usually do not have any plans of their own. Most of them resigned themselves to what they call their “fate” in life and know that they will remain just a face in the crowd of faceless mediocre people.

When you listen to the fainthearted you will become one of their clan. You will see danger and failure in every shadow. It takes courage and lots of faith in your ideas, dreams and plans if you want to take them through to a successful conclusion. You must believe (5) if you want to achieve. You must not allow negative thinkers to shoot down your plans and goals.

They say faith can move mountains. When you really believe in your mission you will overcome all obstacles that attempt to prevent you from achieving your objectives.

 .

I WILL ACCOMPLISH ANY TASK THAT I FOCUS ON BECAUSE I AM DETERMINED AND MOTIVATED. I WILL PERSIST UNTIL MY DREAM BECOMES A REALITY!

 .

.

You are the creator of your own successes and failures. The choices that you make will lead you toward or away from your goals and dreams. The cowards are afraid to act because they fear failure. The winners accept that failure is not a destination, but simply a part of the process. Nothing worthwhile was ever achieved without serious effort and painful failures. All that failure indicates to you is that you still need to make a few modifications to your plan. Failures expect their plans to work without a hitch and fall apart if the don’t. Winners expect setbacks and do not allow them to deflate their initial passion and commitment. Winners do not allow the negative comments of friends and enemies to dismantle their dreams and plans.

If you have been walking around for years with a good idea in your head, now may be a good time to activate some serious action to make it a reality. I do not claim that it will be easy or that all your dreams will become a reality, but why not give some of them your best shot? How would you feel if you read in a magazine or newspaper, that someone else made millions with a similar idea than the one you have allowed to hibernate in your mind?

Most of the situations we find ourselves unhappy in are simply situations that don’t meet our expectations.

.

Happiness is a choice

.

.

.

This may come as a bold statement for many, yet it is the absolute truth. In almost any situation we find ourselves, we can choose to be happy if we want to. Obviously, this is more difficult to do in some situations than in others. For example, if we are in physical pain, it’s very difficult to focus our minds on happiness. And when we are experiencing something pleasurable, happiness almost comes on it’s own.

In our modern world, we rarely experience physical pain. Most of the situations we find ourselves unhappy in are simply situations that don’t meet our expectations. A friend who betrays our trust, a life partner that is dishonest or unfaithful, a boss that is difficult and demanding. These are the types of situations that we can choose to be happy in if we set our mental focus properly.

But how do we find happiness in the midst of these situations? Or, on a more basic level, how do we control our emotions to be what we want them to be? And an even more basic question, why would we want to?

Let’s start with the most basic question, why would we want to control our emotions and make them be something other than those expected?

One of the core principles in the Keys To Power system (and many New Thought systems) is that the Power of Spirit is directed by the thoughts and feelings within us to create our experiences.

This means that when we’re thinking and feeling happy thoughts, Power will be directed to create happy experiences. When we think and feel unhappy thoughts, Power is directed to create unhappy experiences. This ‘Law of Power’ works just as surely and accurately as any other natural Law, such as gravity.

Most people understand the basic concepts here, so I won’t go into detail here. What continually amazes me, however, is the number of people who will agree with the concepts just mentioned, yet will do nothing to implement them into their lives!

But maybe that is because they don’t really know how. Which gets us to the next question, how do we control our emotions to be what we want them to be?

How to Control the Emotions

To get to the answer of that question, we need to understand how the emotions work. Not an easy task, and a full description would take far too much time and space to include here. But in essence, the emotions react to mental stimulus. This means that the combination of our thoughts, beliefs, mental images, and perceptions of the world around us work together to create our emotions.

The sight of a mountain can arouse feelings of pride in one person, and feelings of failure in another. Obviously, the sight of the mountain itself did not create the feelings, or everyone would feel the same way about seeing a mountain. Hearing that the stock market dropped 500 points will make one person feel like the end of the world is at hand, yet make someone else feel that a grand opportunity has arrived. And on a more personal level, finding out that your spouse has engaged in extramarital affairs can be either a blessing or a curse to the relationship, depending on how you look at it.

So, to control our emotions, we need to control the mental stimulus that creates those emotions.

One of the most basic (and most effective) mental stimulus is the judgment that we place on the interpretation of each event. When we judge an event to be bad, our emotional reaction is negative and unhappiness results. If we judge an event to be good, then happiness is much more likely. In many motivational programs, you will find the instruction to label all experiences as good, and then to search for the goodness in the experience. If you lose your job, claim “this is good” and then go about looking for the good in losing your job. It’s usually the opportunity to find a better means of employment.

In other situations, the goodness of the situation is harder to find. For example, someone lies to you and causes you to lose your trust in them. What good is there in that? Maybe it’s an indication that your trust is misplaced and you need to focus elsewhere for truth. Maybe it’s an indication that you’ve allowed an experience to be created (from previous usages of Power) that you don’t like. In this case, it’s an indication that you need to refocus your mind to create what you do want, and not what you don’t want.

And this is the central message here. Your thoughts and feelings are directing Power to create your life experiences. Think about the possibility of dishonesty, or allow yourself to feel that dishonesty is a possibility, and you sow the seeds for a dishonest experience.

I know what you’re probably thinking – “People lie and cheat all the time. How can I possibly NOT think or feel that dishonesty is a possibility? It’s more than a possibility, it’s real!” This is where the principles of the Keys To Power get the most difficult to implement in real life. All I can say is that if you can convince yourself that you will never experience dishonesty, then you won’t. I’m not saying that it’s easy to do, I’m just relaying the principles.

Now let’s get to our first question, how can we find happiness in the midst of unhappy experiences?

Whatever the situation, we need to focus our mind on happy things. Maybe we start to think about other situations other than the one we are currently in. Think about a time when you were tremendously happy. Relive the experience in your mind. Pretend that you are having the same experience right now. Or maybe it’s better to think about how you would like the current situation to end. Imagine that the situation is completely transformed and becomes what you want it to become. Or maybe you only need to focus on the concept that everything will be okay, whether you know how it will end or not.

There’s a story that I like to remember from time to time. There was once a farmer living on a plot of land with his family. This farmer had 2 horses to help him farm his land. And if he worked with those 2 horses from sun up to sun down, he barely made enough to support his family. One day, one of the horses ran away. The farmer’s neighbor, once he found out about it, said “That’s terrible. Now you won’t have what you need to support your family. You’ll surely starve to death.” The farmer replied “Maybe, maybe not.”

The next day, the horse that ran away came back, and brought 2 other horses with it. The farmer’s neighbor happened to be there, and exclaimed jubilantly “This is wonderful! Now you’ll be able to earn much more, and you and your family will live in luxury!” Again, the farmer’s response was “Maybe, maybe not.”

A few days later, one of the farmer’s sons tried to tame one of the wild horses. The horse threw the young boy. When the boy fell, one of his legs was broken. Again the farmer’s neighbor said “That’s terrible!” and again the farmer replied “Maybe, maybe not.”

About a week later, the local militia came around recruiting all available young men. Because the farmer’s son’s leg was broken, they passed by without taking him. Again the farmer’s neighbor said “That’s great!” and again the farmer replied “Maybe, maybe not.”

The basic lesson in this story (which could go on forever), is that you never really know what will happen because of the current event. Even if the situation now is “terrible”, it may be necessary to get to a situation that’s “Great!”

The world around you is a mirror of your inner world.

.

neuronsbrain

.

The world around you is a mirror of your inner world. You will

discover when you become still and look carefully that the

teacher within is projecting activities and lessons that you

need to learn if you want to evolve. You will discover that your

current soul’s journey is mapped out for you. Most of us think

that wisdom, knowledge and insight must come from distant

countries or far off dimensions. You have advanced software

embedded in your gene structure. Your gene helix is part of

your perfect self that extends to the outer bounds of the

universe. All your experiences and history of your previous

trips through this and other dimensions is recorded here.

There is a fog or vale that blocks you from freely accessing

this data base. The main reason why this information is

gradually filtered through to you is because you will learn less

if you had full access to this source of knowledge.

There is many ways of solving problems. You might have

mastered specific problems or challenges historically in a

specific way, but need to learn the wide range of other

methods that can be used to obtain a successful outcome if

your really want to evolve. Being patient, detached, objective,

compassionate or forgiving is not mastered in one go. It is

like all other disciplines. You need to repeat the same action

many times before you become unconsciously competent.

You have ongoing opportunities to work on your evolvement.

Your teacher within will set up situations and events where

you can practice the attributes that form part of your spiritual

armour. You can read all you like in books and listen as often

as you can to lectures and still fail to master any of the

spiritual attribute goals you have set for yourself. The masters

from other dimensions send us holographic messages that

are stored in our perfect self software. You already have an

amazing source of knowledge stored in your perfect self’s

archives. These archives are continually updated by masters

that work from other dimensions.

It is a crying shame that many of us find it impossible to

become still or to disconnect long enough from our

delusional perception that the world is real. We are like a

person that is dying of thirst with an unlimited source of water

in our backyard. It might come as a surprise to you if I

mention that you are a master in your own right. You become

a master and in turn look after other entities while they are on

a mission in another dimension. You are wise and competent

in your original spiritual form. You are a master in your own

right when you are in your “home” dimension. You have not

lost this wisdom and knowledge when you visit earth plane.

You can access your vast archives when you become still and

remove the layers of ignorance that form over your perfect

self during your visits to earth plane.

Your perfect self that is also the real you becomes your

teacher during your stints in other dimensions. Become still

so that you can hear, feel and experience the messages that

your perfect self and teacher is sharing with you. You are not

that person facing your in the mirror. You are not part of the

illusionary holographic world. The barrier that prevents you

from accessing your perfect data base is judgement. You

have been conditioned to judge everything and everyone. The

moment you judge a person or perception it becomes fixed

and inflexible.

Learn to detach. Learn to let go of judgement. You will see a

rapid evolvement cycle when you master these two vital

components. Become an observer. Become a spectator and

understand that what you are looking at is nothing more than

movies projected on the collective screen of the earth

dimension. Learn to trust your inner teacher. Your perfect self

is your inner teacher and will never expose you to a lesson

that are too advanced or difficult to master at your current

level of evolution.

It is impossible to remain OBJECTIVE and refrain from JUDGING while we treat CURRENT people and events through our haze of HISTORICAL PERCEPTIONS.

.

.

We are AUTOMATICALLY ANCHORING images, feelings and emotions to everything that we EXPERIENCE in all our day-to-day activities. Our subconscious minds also develop a KEY TRIGGER that will call back to LIFE all the IMAGES and EMOTIONS stored in our sub-conscious minds. Any CURRENT EVENT or THOUGHT can TRIGGER a HISTORICAL range of emotions that lay DORMAT for years in our sub-conscious minds. We are constantly ASSOCIATING CURRENT events with HISTORICAL data stored in our sub-conscious minds. The problem that most of us have is that we think that we have no CONTROL over these THOUGHT PACKAGES that are endlessly TRIGGERED by new events that we are faced with daily. We become VICTIMS that are AMBUSHED by a never ending stream of HISTORICAL images, feelings and emotions that COLOUR every moment of our day. Most of us find it impossible to look at and experience our CURRENT MOMENTS without the interference of these HISTORICAL thought bundles. It is impossible to remain OBJECTIVE and refrain from JUDGING while we treat CURRENT people and events through the haze of HISTORICAL FEELINGS and EMOTIONS.
