Do you tend to rush through life and forget to enjoy the journey?

.

.

Please pause for a moment when you notice the“PAUSE” request before you continue. Think how what you just read can assist you with a specific set of circumstances that you are faced with. Think what changes can come about if you applied what you learned here in your relationships, work or with your family and friends. You will be astounded how much value you get from the material when you PAUSE for a few moments, take a small break and apply what I requested above. Do you have a train or bus to catch or do you tend to rush through life with your eyes so fixed on the potential outcomes that you forget to enjoy the journey?

An energy bubble surrounds each one of us. This energy field is charged by your predominant focus at any given moment in time. People can sense when anger, grief or revengeful thoughts are trapped in this energy field. You need to sanitise this invisible energy bubble that accompanies you wherever you go if you want to improve your health or lifestyle. Letting go of the past is a good place to start. The key to a clear energy field is forgiveness. Not only forgiveness of others, but of yourself.

PAUSE

Anticipation is a powerful force. Never show all your cards while the game is still in progress. The game of life is like a chess game. You must mentally always be a few moves ahead of your opponents.

PAUSE

Anticipation is vital to your survival. If you fail to anticipate what the implications of a current action or decision could be, you are putting yourself at great risk. The wise man reads people and events and anticipates their next few moves. He is not paranoid, but vigilant and wise.

PAUSE

Anticipation is what fuels the champions of life. If you lose your ability to dream, you lose your zest for life. If all your anticipation is suddenly removed, you will go into shock. Most people do not only anticipate the future, but also make the mistake of mentally living there. Anticipate the future, but live in the now if you want to experience true happiness.

PAUSE

Appear uncertain if you need other’s support, compassion and understanding. Ask for assistance in a clear and precise manner. Tell it like it is. Why continue hiding behind masks and facades? Get your ego out of the way and reveal your needs in an open and sincere manner. What is the worst that can happen? You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

PAUSE

Appreciation is the key to understanding. Only when we learn to appreciate what we have will more value be added to our lives. Gratitude and appreciation are the two most neglected emotions in society today. You can never be happy or achieve piece of mind if you lack these vital components.

PAUSE

Are you a person that enjoys making an issue out of everything? When you oppose something, you stop the natural flow of things. When you continually question and dig for potential flaws it usually disturbs the natural rhythm and flow of events. You need to find a balance between being a pain in the backside and a people pleaser.

PAUSE

Ask for reconsideration when things fail to work out as anticipated. Any softening in judgement will be a bonus. Any drop in price will put money in your pocket. Only the less informed will walk away without giving it his best shot. Nothing in life is easy. If you really want something, then fight for it.

Think of this the next time you use the “I just don’t have the time” excuse.

.

You can blame no one when you waste time. You made a personal choice when you procrastinate or waste time. Many of us moan and groan that we do not have enough time. We can more often than not only blame ourselves when we experience pressure and strain. You will be astounded how much time you waste sending text messages or making meaningless phone calls daily. Hundreds of messages fly in and out your cell phone that contain nothing useful and display no real purpose. You are wasting eighteen hours a year if you send only 3 casual text messages a day. (365 days x 3 (one minute per sms) = 1095 minutes or 18 hours 25 minutes. (Almost 3 full working days) Are you aware than you can learn how to do a fairly complicated operation in eighteen hours? Think of this the next time you use the “I just don’t have the time” excuse.

Life Changer – Appreciation – A single flower or a one-minute phone call can often do more for a worn out mother/father than the medication they are taking for their depression/insomnia.

“Smile – I will pay for the stitches”.

.

EVEN A LITTLE BIT OF RECOGNITION CAN GO AN INCREDIBLY LONG WAY IN A PERSON’S LIFE

 JOHN MAXWELL

I am often astounded when I see how unappreciative people have become. I am not talking about buying someone a vehicle or sending him or her on a boat trip around the world in appreciation here. I am talking about something much more simple. What I have in mind is the simple and low energy activity of moving your lips and forming the words, “Thank you.” Society has become sour, critical and self-centred and takes far too much for granted. I will start with children. Children today begin at a very young age to become takers and usually sustain this parasite behaviour habit into adulthood. I have seen many parents go without to ensure a good education for their children. I have seen how parents worked two jobs and forfeit their health and best years of their life to ensure that their ungrateful offspring can go around with “designer or brand name” clothing. I can feel the veins in my neck popping when I see how ill mannered children treat their parents as if they are brain dead morons. Appreciation usually only enters the picture when the spoiled child needs to lay his hands of the wallet of their “well worn” parents.

The inability to express appreciation is rife in society today. Not only children go around taking things for granted. When last did you catch someone expressing honest out of the heart unsolicited appreciation? People are starved of this vital ingredient in all levels of society today. People blush and become embarrassed when you thank them or express your honest appreciation. You can detect that they are out of practice receiving appreciation. The sudden rush of “good chemicals” from their brains that are released when you feel appreciated makes them dizzy and tend to stun them.

I WILL TODAY EXPRESS MY APPRECIATION AS IF I HAVE AN ENDLESS STOCK OF IT IN THE STOREHOUSE OF MY MIND

If you want to exert serious influence on people, learn about the power of honest appreciation. Express and show your appreciation more often and see what enormous difference it can make in the lives of people. The rumour that has been around that appreciation cannot be experienced when you become older or when your hair turns grey is just an urban legend. You never grow too old, rich, or fat to enjoy appreciation. It is something that you obtain free of charge and that will not bankrupt you if you hand it out in generous proportions. You can freely use this powerful tool on parents, gardeners, strangers, and even intimate friends.

Invite people to tell you more about themselves, their hopes, their fears, and dreams. Show real interest in what they have to say. Learn to take the focus off your own needs, fears, and ego driven aspirations for a while. Most people are so ego driven that they find it very difficult to listen. Do not try and top every story they tell with one of your own that makes their achievement bleak in comparison. Send people “thank you“ notes. I have seen mothers treasure a thank you note for decades that a son or daughter wrote them in a moment of weakness. You also do not need to wait for special occasions to show your appreciation. A single flower or a one-minute phone call can often do more for a worn out mother or father than the medication they are taking for their depression or insomnia. Become a strong source of influence today by giving your appreciation freely to everybody you meet. The amazing thing about giving appreciation and recognition is that it also makes you feel good and worthy.

Inject enthusiasm and passion into your voice …… life!

Get up off your chair or get out of your bed and rise to your full height. Lift your head and take a few deep breaths. Then begin to act in a positive manner. Walk like a person that owns the world. Smile and show compassion to the people around you. Walk tall and with deliberate steps. Do what needs to be done. You will be astounded how quickly you will feel the cloud of despair lift from you head. Do not whine like a person that is on the verge of expiring. Raise your voice and talk at a comfortable speed. Inject enthusiasm and passion into your voice. You will soon find that you begin to feel as positive as the way you act
