We walk/talk/act/react according to the filters that we look through while playing the game of life.

.

If you ask me what is the biggest discovery that I made during my endless years of research on the reason why we fail I would boldly state the following:

It is a myth that we are the victims of our history. This myth tends to put us in a perpetual hypnotised, victim state. We walk, talk, act and react according to the filters that we look through while playing the game of life. Most of us are on auto-pilot and automatically act and react in the manner dictated to us according to our mindset on the matter at hand. We cringe and we cry or dance in elation according to the historical scripts that we adopted since early childhood. The world became our stage. We endlessly repeat our little dramas and hardly ever think that there might be better alternatives if we STOP for a moment and look at the CURRENT moment in an OBJECTIVE and COMPOSED manner.

stop-and-think

They cannot spring to life without our activation. They cannot make us sad or depressed until we send the signal via our thoughts that trigger them to life. The amazing thing for many of us must be the ability of these historical pictures, when activated to force us to once more look at the blood, wounds and feelings of disaster that we experienced during the birth of these experiences. It is impossible to remain composed, in control or positive while we allow these strings of historical data to contaminate our CURRENT moments.

Did you know that time is an illusion. The only time that is REAL is this very MOMENT. Nothing that happened HISTORICALLY or that might happen in the FUTURE can contaminate your current moment without your permission. No horror movies can play on the screen of your mind until you upload a single or series of historical data packages from your sub-conscious minds. You cannot manage your life or a specific moment on MERIT while you remain in AUTO-PLAY. How can you be brave when you constantly allow your historical horror movies to scare the living shit out of you? It is a simple as that. You can never escape your current circumstances (financial, relationship etc.) while you continuously work with old and often outdated blueprints.

This nasty habit is causing billions to stagger out of bed each day and repeat the same old cycles and rituals like slaves. They dance the same old monotonous dance and hope that something or someone will bring some joy or luck into their grey and uninteresting lives. They yearn for love, friendship, joy, prosperity or success, but fail to understand that it is impossible to manifest anything that falls outside of our current or habitual mindsets.

You have something called will-power. You can take your power back today. You make hundred of choices every hour. You can decide that you are going to get off your chair or bed right now and confront each moment in an objective and positive manner. You can decide that acting like a puppet or a slave is no longer fun. You can kick adversity in the balls and challenge those that cause you discomfort to “bring it on”. Can you see that you can become objective, strong, loving and fun to be with if you stop the tendency to allow your history to dictate each and every moment in your life? You can become productive and efficient right now if you PAUSE for a moment before you act or react. The key is the choices you make. What you do, think or fail to do will manifest tomorrow, next week and next year.

Draw a line in the sand today, right now and take your power back. Be brave and make decisions even if the outcomes might not be what you anticipated. You can always make new decisions and make adjustments to your new flight plan. Decide today that you are going to LIVE until you DIE. It is easy when you understand that all you need to do is to manage your CURRENT MOMENT.

Whatever circumstances we have in life, we are still the one controlling its outcome.

There are times in our life, that we may feel we are left alone and being pushed hard by whatever circumstances in life. For some, they use this moment to make them stronger, wiser and better person. But for some, they didn’t fight back. They just accept the reality and concede on the great defeat. These are the people who will not be successful in life. Success is a series of failures that we need to overcome every time and emerged victorious in the end.

There are rich people and there are poor people. Some are born healthy, some are born with defects. Some are lucky, some are so unlucky. This is life, and we cannot change it. All we can do is accept the fact that life is unfair, and move on. No one can ever guarantee for a fair result in life. Instead of complaining, try to use this opportunity to improve yourself and make use of the hardship and difficulties to propel you to achieve greater purpose in life. We may be born poor, but we all have the opportunities to be successful and become rich in life.

Helen Keller was blind and deaf, and yet she emerged as one of the best author in our history. Her life didn’t stop when she loses her senses, but instead, it motivates her to do things that normal people can do and she did best.

Whitney Houston was once a famous singer of our time. People around the world adore her and taught that she has everything and very successful in life. And yet, where she is now? After her fame, she became addicted to drugs and involved in several illegal activities. She is just another example of a person whom we thought are successful.

I grew up without my parents to guide me on my side. Trials, difficulties and problems are my constant companion before. And yet, I fought back and use these misfortunes to become what I am today. Same thing happen to my friend. Now he was addicted to illegal drugs and a drop out from school. Lots of people have the same fate, because they accept defeat early in life. They are just contented in saying that life is unfair, and circumstance makes them what they are today.

Whatever circumstances we have in life, we are still the one controlling its outcome. It is still up to us to lead our life to where we want us to be. Blaming the circumstances and use it to justify our present condition will not help. It will only hinder us to move forward and continue to live our life. Trials and difficulties will always be there to set us off course, but we can handle it if we really have the right attitude in life.

So instead of complaining about life being unfair, move on and make the use out of it.

This is how we became the slave of those that enforce their will on us.

.

Who really have the say and authority in your life (world)? Who is and have been creating your life experiences since early childhood up to now? Many of us have been playing the role of a victim for so many years that we are unable to recall who allocated this (victim) role to us. The question that we need to answer is, “Who is really in charge of your life and your world?” It is important to remember that everyone is a creator in his/her own right. Everyone is thus the ruler of their own world and circumstances. It is vital to understand that it is unacceptable to allow anyone to impose his/her ideas, will and creations on to us and our world. This is how we became the slave of those that enforce their will (scripts) on us and took over our domain.

Our minds are like a garden. If you diligently attend to your garden, it will produce the things you cultivate.

ATT2314729

.

Take a trip to any jail or prison and you will meet hundreds of people who will tell you they are the “victims” of their circumstances.

Travel through any big city ghetto and you’ll hear the same thing.

Visit any affluent, high-class neighborhood, talk to the people there and you’ll discover the same thing.

Visit a middle-class neighborhood in New York, Toronto, London or Sydney and you will meet people who believe they are the result of their circumstances, good or bad.

They will talk about the opportunities they were given, or the chances they were denied. They may be grateful for the education they were exposed to, or complain they were denied the education they deserve.

One person will tell you about her wonderful childhood and upbringing was, while another will complain that she came from a “dysfunctional” family.

There is no denying that income, status, education, upbringing, neighborhood, family and many other situations will influence, effect and even determine the outcome of our lives.

But who creates the circumstances?

Your parents? Your environment? God? Destiny? Lost in all this analysis and the assumption of almost every unconscious person I have ever met is this one very important reality.

The effect of our thoughts ABOUT our circumstances.

We cannot change what happened to us, but we can change our PERCEPTION about what happened to us. This is the key to changing our present circumstances and our future.

.

Our minds are like a garden. We can intelligently cultivate our garden, or we can allow it to run wild. If you diligently attend to your garden, it will produce the things you cultivate.

.

If you don’t plant specific seeds, then the animals, wind and other elements will cause RANDOM things to grow which will likely to choke out the things you want to cultivate from your garden.

One thing is certain, *SOMETHING* WILL GROW IN YOUR GARDEN!

Just as a gardener must tend his or her garden, keeping out the weeds, you must tend the garden of your mind, weeding out the thoughts of lack, limitation and negativity.

If you practice gardening of this kind, you will soon discover that you are the gardener of your soul. You will come to the profound revelation that you are not the victim of your circumstances–but the creator of them.

The reason is simple: Whatever you give your attention to and focus on shapes your character, creates your circumstances, and determines your ultimate destiny.

Please read that again

What you experience in your life is directly connected to your inner state of mind. The most important thing you can learn about success, prosperity and happiness is that cause (thought) and effect (results or experiences) are one.

But face this important fact – You don’t simply end up in jail or the hospital, bankrupt, or alone no more than you simply wake up rich, successful, happy, and healthy. All these CIRCUMSTANCES are the RESULT of thousands of little decisions, which are reached as a result of the thoughts you give your attention to.

Now, if you are like most people, this is the part where you start to mentally make excuses and argue with me.

Perhaps you believe that what I just said is true for other people, but you are quite certain that you have been the victim of extenuating circumstances beyond your control.

I know. I know. YOUR situation is different.

So just how does that work?

Let’s talk about how all this applies to you.

First, you must accept that on one level or another, you have manifested everything that is happening in your life. Even the horrific, nasty stuff.

I agree that you don’t do it consciously. But you do it.

Now here’s the thing . . .

You are surrounded by a data-sphere of information that promotes negativity, fear, anxiety, limitation, and lack. It pummels your senses from all directions. It comes from your TV, radio, the Internet, your friends, family, church and the people you work with.

Most people are so saturated by negative programming that they can’t even conceive a life of anything but struggle and complaint.

What you read, what you listen to, and the people you talk with have a huge effect on the person you are and the thoughts you have. It not only comes from the media and other individuals but from the government.

The doom, gloom and negativity that is perpetuated by the government is designed to appeal to the programmed fear of the masses in order to get re-elected. We elect and re-elect these people to *save and protect us* from the pending doom and gloom.

If that wasn’t enough, consider that the microcosm of our mass culture can be found in entertainment and even sports personalities. Most of these people are insecure, self-centered and only interested in their own 15 minutes of fame.

However, they are not the problem. We are, because we are willing to spend countless hours and pay billions of dollars to watch them, mimic their lifestyles and even their manner of dress.

You must recognize that this data-sphere is continually programming you 24/7, and that almost 95% of it is fear, lack and limitation programming.

So what do you do?

If you want to reach the highest levels of success, you have to zealously guard the input you allow to come into your life. You must control your own programming, and reject the poisonous stuff most people are trying to feed you.

In order to focus on success, it is imperative that you spend more time on your own personal growth. Each morning and each evening before you go to bed, spend time on focusing on something positive.

Remember: You are the foundation from which all your dreams are made reality. This is the only way you can guarantee your success, wealth and happiness…

Do you tend to rush through life and forget to enjoy the journey?

.

.

Please pause for a moment when you notice the“PAUSE” request before you continue. Think how what you just read can assist you with a specific set of circumstances that you are faced with. Think what changes can come about if you applied what you learned here in your relationships, work or with your family and friends. You will be astounded how much value you get from the material when you PAUSE for a few moments, take a small break and apply what I requested above. Do you have a train or bus to catch or do you tend to rush through life with your eyes so fixed on the potential outcomes that you forget to enjoy the journey?

An energy bubble surrounds each one of us. This energy field is charged by your predominant focus at any given moment in time. People can sense when anger, grief or revengeful thoughts are trapped in this energy field. You need to sanitise this invisible energy bubble that accompanies you wherever you go if you want to improve your health or lifestyle. Letting go of the past is a good place to start. The key to a clear energy field is forgiveness. Not only forgiveness of others, but of yourself.

PAUSE

Anticipation is a powerful force. Never show all your cards while the game is still in progress. The game of life is like a chess game. You must mentally always be a few moves ahead of your opponents.

PAUSE

Anticipation is vital to your survival. If you fail to anticipate what the implications of a current action or decision could be, you are putting yourself at great risk. The wise man reads people and events and anticipates their next few moves. He is not paranoid, but vigilant and wise.

PAUSE

Anticipation is what fuels the champions of life. If you lose your ability to dream, you lose your zest for life. If all your anticipation is suddenly removed, you will go into shock. Most people do not only anticipate the future, but also make the mistake of mentally living there. Anticipate the future, but live in the now if you want to experience true happiness.

PAUSE

Appear uncertain if you need other’s support, compassion and understanding. Ask for assistance in a clear and precise manner. Tell it like it is. Why continue hiding behind masks and facades? Get your ego out of the way and reveal your needs in an open and sincere manner. What is the worst that can happen? You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

PAUSE

Appreciation is the key to understanding. Only when we learn to appreciate what we have will more value be added to our lives. Gratitude and appreciation are the two most neglected emotions in society today. You can never be happy or achieve piece of mind if you lack these vital components.

PAUSE

Are you a person that enjoys making an issue out of everything? When you oppose something, you stop the natural flow of things. When you continually question and dig for potential flaws it usually disturbs the natural rhythm and flow of events. You need to find a balance between being a pain in the backside and a people pleaser.

PAUSE

Ask for reconsideration when things fail to work out as anticipated. Any softening in judgement will be a bonus. Any drop in price will put money in your pocket. Only the less informed will walk away without giving it his best shot. Nothing in life is easy. If you really want something, then fight for it.

Navigating which emotions men are supposed to express when can be rather confusing.

.

feministc

Men have always been expected to be strong and staid. Men were expected to be reserved and contemplative when calm, yet strong and capable when pushed too far. Then came the late ’60s and second-wave feminism. With women gaining equality in the workplace, the bedroom and society in general, gender borders began to erode at an alarming rate. Men were now expected to wear their emotions on their sleeves — or so was the stated opinion of women.

While women may say they want raw emotion, the truth, as is the case in so many circumstances, is that they don’t really know what they want. Believe us, no woman really wants to see you cry. Today, navigating which emotions men are supposed to express when can be rather confusing. The Emo-meter rating, measured on a scale of 0 (for never) to 5 (for frequent), lets men know when, if ever, they should really emote around women. Learn to control your emotions with the dating tips below.

Fear

While there is nothing to fear but fear itself, showing any amount of fear around women will prove disastrous unless you can really control your emotions. For all their claims about sensitive men, women still want to feel protected. Women still want you to kill those spiders and protect them on darkened streets, and your girlfriend doesn’t want you to cower behind her while she squishes the evil bug. Showing fear in a girly, unnecessary way is unacceptable, while referencing a personal fear that you’ve managed to overcome shows robust courage and self-control.

Emo-meter rating: 1

Jealousy

Women will state over and over again that they hate it when their men are jealous. While this is her official line, try letting her go out with her male friends without so much as an ounce of jealousy. When she gets back from this platonic meeting, you’ll be getting the cold shoulder. Even if you’re confident in yourself and know that this other guy isn’t a threat, she expects you to exert at least a little consternation over this type of meeting. So, while you need to control your emotions, she also wants to know you still cherish her and can control your jealousy. There’s no quicker way to do that than to show a little concern that you may in fact lose her.

Emo-meter rating: 2

Anger

There are few emotions more tied up with passion than anger. As such, women will want you, from time to time, to get angry. Lack of anger and lack of passion tell women that you are apathetic about certain aspects of your life. No matter what those aspects are, she’ll make the leap that you are apathetic toward your relationship, which is not the kind of control you want to have over your emotions. Of course, the anger expressed, even though it is vital to the health of the relationship, will need to be directed outward and never at her. Make sure that the target actually deserves the wrath, as unleashing anger on a cashier who shortchanged you comes off as petty and just isn’t the right way to control your emotions.

Affection

Affection is a context-specific tightrope men must walk. Using affection, an almost universally positive emotion, equally in all circumstances will net any man an irritated woman. Women want you to be affectionate, but as much as they love affection, they tend to prefer you play down the public displays of affection (PDAs). PDAs have a tendency to undermine a woman’s feeling of independence, so try not to step on her toes and control your emotions. Holding hands in public, a light kiss or walking arm in arm are all perfect public expressions of affection. Save the true affection for when you’re behind a veil of privacy.

Emo-meter rating: 2 in public, 4 in private.

Sadness

Feeling sad is a very vulnerable emotional state to be in, for anyone. Traditionally, men haven’t really expressed sadness outside the context of moderate to heavy drinking. Tears weren’t allowed to come out, but liquor went in — and it was never done in front of a woman. That was the understanding a man had with this most troubling emotion. Today, women want to know that a man feels sad on occasion. If he doesn’t, women may begin to question his connection with reality, which can be quite depressing. Modern men need to learn to control their emotions and show that they are sad every once in a while, and do so in the company of women. Choose the time and place wisely as the expression of sadness should only be shown under the gravest of circumstances. The death of a loved one, for example, would be appropriate — the love scene in Titanic would not.

Emo-meter rating:

EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE

Contrary to popular belief, men have always had emotions, and these emotions have always been expressed. The company and context of such expression has changed, as in the past this largely took place behind closed doors and was, by and large, a solitary experience. Today, the expression has changed to accommodate what women think they want when it comes to the way men feel. This by no means gives us license to go overboard in expressing our emotions, however; as men, we must remember to exercise control in emotional circumstances in order to save ourselves from being labelled weak or unmanly.

Success is a series of failures that we need to overcome every time and emerged victorious in the end.

We walk, talk, act and react according to the filters that we look through while playing the game of life.

.

If you ask me what is the biggest discovery that I made during my endless years of research on the reasons why we fail I would boldly state the following:

It is a myth that we are the victims of our history. This myth tends to put us in a perpetual hypnotised, victim state. We walk, talk, act and react according to the filters that we look through while playing the game of life. Most of us are on auto-pilot and automatically act and react in the manner dictated to us according to our mindset on the matter at hand. We cringe and we cry or dance in elation according to the historical scripts that we adopted since early childhood. The world became our stage. We endlessly repeat our little dramas and hardly ever think that there might be better alternatives if we STOP for a moment and look at the CURRENT moment in an OBJECTIVE and COMPOSED manner.

.

.

cloundhead

 .

Our historical choices created everything that we experience daily.

.

Who really have the say and authority in your life (world)? Who is and have been creating your life experiences since early childhood up to now? Many of us have been playing the role of a victim for so many years that we are unable to recall who allocated this (victim) role to us. The question that you need to answer is, “Who is really in charge of your life and your world?” It is important to remember that everyone is a creator in his/her own right. Everyone is thus the ruler of their own world and circumstances. It is vital to understand that it is unacceptable to allow anyone to impose his/her ideas, will and creations on to us and our world. This is how we become the slave of those that enforce their will (scripts) on us. We make choices that  always have outcomes. Our historical choices created everything that we experience daily. A poor choice can bring you years of pain and suffering. A good choice in turn can bring joy, pleasure, fun, satisfaction and success into your life (world). Can you understand that it is a mistake to think that everyone see and experience life the same as you do. Every person view the world through his/her own unique filter system. Nobody on the planet experience and view the world the way you do.

Your attitude towards partner/family/friends/life) is the force that drives the weather that you experience daily.

.

Keep the following image in mind the next time you are not happy about your current circumstances. You create the mental “weather” in your life. You either create sunny and balmy days or miserable, wet days with isolated thunder showers. The collective weather pattern between you and your partner (or family) combine to form a “weather pattern” as well. Your attitude (partner and family) is the force that drives the weather that you experience daily. Change your attitude if you don’t like the general weather conditions that you must live or work in.

IS THIS A NEW DAY OR IS IT JUST A REPLAY OF YESTERDAY?

.
.

IS THIS A NEW DAY OR IS IT JUST A REPLAY OF YESTERDAY?

DO YOU OFTEN FEEL THAT YOU WANT TO SHOUT, “SAME OLD SHIT”? WE ARE THE CREATORS OF OUR OWN WORLD AND DO ACTUALLY HAVE CONTROL OF MOST OF THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN IT.

ARE YOU SICK OF THE SAME OLD STUFF? Most people live as if there is some kind of invisible force that captured their will and ability to remain active and productive. They act as if they are helpless victims of life and circumstances. Just look around you and see if you can detect one single person that made a really dramatic and sustained modification (turnaround) to his or her unsatisfactory lifestyle.

People often bitch and moan about their work, relationships, spouses and unruly children and act as if they are the victims of some sinister plot. When you go to social occasions you often discover that most people spend hours trying to top each other’s “victim” stories while they stare at each other through the bottoms of their cocktail glasses. When you finally drive home after these “socials” you often feel drained and incomplete.

Your “social” with your friends might have made you feel slightly better initially because you received confirmation that you are not the only one that are a victim in this cesspool called life. You are exposed to “bad news” messages wherever you go. Whenever you feel enthusiastic and upbeat, buy a newspaper. Before you read two pages you will be back to your normal subdued self.

We might feel that we are living under very testing conditions today and that our situation is unique, but when you investigate the “victim” phenomena worldwide you will find that most people suffer with this form of mental bondage.

We use crime and instability as our crutch to justify our victim behaviour in South Africa. You will discover that an endless range of excuses are used to justify “victim” behaviour globally even when crime is not so visible as in South Africa. The bottom line is that “victim” behaviour is something that comes from the inside, from your own mind.

We tend to “think” ourselves to a standstill and into an early grave. The “look at me, I am a victim” turmoil in the world has reached pandemic proportions. The collective negative mood on planet earth is negative and very destructive. The main reason why people experience these very immobilizing emotions is because of the overall habit of living in the PAST or the FUTURE. We can think up the most amazing disasters in the theatre of our minds. We can die a thousand deaths in our mind with our habit of projecting ourselves into imagined future disasters.

WHEN YOU LIVE IN THE FUTURE YOU GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO ACT IN THE NOW!

We form opinions at a very young age about most things in life. We have “feelings” about almost anything that we can ever be faced with. Any conclusion that we came to during our lifetime will usually remain part of our coping style until the day we die.

Most people fail to understand that “everything will remain the same until a change is made”. If you are allowing fear of something that might never happen to control your thinking you are disqualifying yourself from the reality of the now.

Just think of the key areas in your life such as your work, relationships and general lifestyle and take stock of your “general” behaviour in these areas. You need to study your habitual reaction pattern in any area if it is not working as you hoped it would. Stop waiting for others to modify their behaviour, beg you for forgiveness or that the problem will go away.

Become bold and active and start doing something about whatever you feel is bothering you. Nothing will change until you activate such change. Remember if you are in waiting mode and your dispute is with someone else you are handing control to this person. When you live in the NOW and you act in the present tense you make your life predictable and much more stress free. When you live in the FUTURE and fail to take action in the NOW you are “manufacturing” your own house of pain.

The only way that you can escape this stuck in the future or past zone is to begin to live in the NOW. Give yourself a fair chance to make a success of any given day. You can do this by talking to yourself.

Tell yourself that you are not interested in things that might never happen or that happened in the past. You are talking to yourself all day long, make these “chats” constructive and motivational. Give yourself a break and stop running yourself down. When you find your mind drifting into the “horror” mode tell yourself that you are not going to waste energy on events that may never happen. If you mind drifts into the “feel sorry for me mode”, take control and say, “I create my own circumstances and will not create a torture chamber for myself today.” Wipe the slate clean every morning and attack each day with enthusiasm and commitment. Live for the moment my friend. Today and each and every day is indeed a new day with wonderful opportunities if you are focused on the now.

Today, navigating which emotions men are supposed to express when can be rather confusing.

.

self-talk200

.

Our poor choices provide us opportunities to learn new skills. Nothing that happens to us is futile.

.

.

Every tree, rock or blade of grass vibrates at a unique frequency. Every animal and bird has a unique frequency vibration. It is like the bar codes you find on articles you buy. Every nation’s vibration and sound emission is unique and portrays the collective sound emitted by its population. You can hear these emissions and feel the vibrations that ebb and flow like the waves of the ocean when you become still and learn to listen with your spiritual ears. A completely new world opens up when you begin to understand this principle. You find yourself in a brand new dimension. Your new listening skills assist you to make better choices and reveal hidden motivators in others that you were never aware of before. You stop living your life on a reactive basis. You also begin to understand that the world is actually an illusion. Nothing is solid and real. The only reason why we can see and feel things is that their molecular vibrations slowed down enough to materialise as matter. A table of chair become visible and detectable because of their reduction in vibration speed. We create our own world and circumstances. We become what we think. Any thought incubated long enough in the subliminal dimension will materialise. That is the law of the universe. What you sow you reap and what you think becomes a reality in your life. You are a creator in your own right. What you now experience in your life is your own creations. Many of the unpleasant things and circumstances that we create for ourselves become part of our learning curve. Our poor choices provide us opportunities to learn new skills. Nothing that happens to us is futile. Embrace all opportunities to learn. Our mission on this plane is to learn and to grow. We will come back and do it all again until we get it right. Repeating experiences is not punishment by God, but wonderful opportunities to evolve spiritually. Most of us have a comfort zone that we developed around us. We endlessly go through the same rituals everyday. We are too afraid to venture outside our comfort zone’s boundaries. We say the same silly things and respond in the same manner. We dress, eat and interact with the same people endlessly. We fool ourselves with the idea that we are liberal and free. We are prisoners of our perceptions and rituals. We accept the things that fit our norm structure. We on the other hand, reject and judge anything or anyone that dare to suggest something different. We go through life with blinkers on. We yearn to experience the freedom of an eagle, but sustain our fear-filled rituals in our holding pens. We are too afraid to make any changes. We believe in the “better you know” philosophy. Years slip by unnoticed. We dream beautiful dreams, but allow our fear to keep us imprisoned in our worn out comfort zones. We think we know everything. We have opinions about life, death and God. We still burned individuals at the stake not so long ago that claimed that the world was not the centre of the universe. We killed the profits that came to bring us messages of hope and love. We have so much static and noise in our heads, produced by our second mind that we fail to hear the universal language that bind us all into a single unit. We separated God from our lives. We think that He is a male with a white beard that reside somewhere in heaven. Every religion on this planet thinks that they have sole ownership of God. They claim that we need to belong to their tribe, read their holy book and attend their services if we want to be “saved.” Become still and you will notice that God is everywhere. All you need to do is to grasp that you are not a sinner and that God is not at all interested in the mistakes you make. God knows that you are here to learn and do not expect perfection from you. You can learn from every person or event. You can learn about God from the ants or the majestic trees that decorate our planet. You must learn to look for God or his message in everything. We come face to face with God when we look at a tiny seed in the palm of our hand. You should contemplate the wisdom and miracle of this tiny computer driven factory programmed to activate and grow under certain conditions. We face challenges from the moment we open our eyes in the morning until we drop back in bed at night. We can view these challenges as problems or opportunities. Our lessons come in many forms. It might come from an out of control family member, partner or a specific set of circumstances. We more often than not slip into a victim mentality when we run into adversity. You can spot the lesson in any adversity when you learn to pause before you act or react. The simple act of pausing to allow the adversity wave to break before we act or react is important. We regain our composure when we pause before we act or react. It provides us with the opportunity to spot the possible subliminal messages and lessons on offer. Anger directed at us might teach us that all stories have two sides. Financial pressure could have a lesson of discipline hidden at its core. You are a spiritual being that are busy having a human experience and not a human that are at the mercy of some fault finding God. You were not born in sin. God is love and compassion all rolled into one. He will never condemn you if you are slow at learning your lessons. God knows that you will one day wake up and return home like the prodigal son depicted in the Bible.

This myth tends to put us in a perpetual hypnotised, victim state.

We endlessly repeat our little dramas and hardly ever think that there might be better alternatives if we STOP for a moment and look at the CURRENT moment in an OBJECTIVE and COMPOSED manner.

.

Things are never quite as bad as we think.

.

"Seek out those who are in the process of blossoming, people who've got something to teach you.

Let me explain, imagine that switch operates your levels of self confidence, which, in turn affects your self image… now somebody or something or maybe just a set of circumstances turns that switch down , bang… down you go , down goes your self confidence and with it goes your self esteem…

Then on another occasion again something else occurs , and suddenly you are way up there in the clouds!… again you cannot quite grasp what is triggering these extremes of lows and highs – leaving you feeling helpless in the fight to control your mood swings…

Because you are experiencing feelings of helplessness due to not being in control (something has hold of your switch) this ends up in a spiral…. down into the depths of despair… trying to overcome negative thoughts and fighting to throw that switch the other way seems at the moment a bridge too far … makes sense ?

Things are never quite as bad as we think, there are now lots of solutions out there to help you overcome these problems, many new strategies which once followed will help you fight whatever problems are affecting your life… and put you right back in charge – just where you should be!

Finding ways to pinpoint whatever de-motivates you and affects your self confidence is the first step.

Taking this first step is like saying to yourself “I now recognize that whatever problems I have need sorting out – I have to get a handle on it .. I could do with a little help”

Don’t forget also that when we are fighting our inner demons on a daily basis we often completely forget that it affects not just ourselves, but everyone around us – loved ones included.

So, OK, our new road to self discovery is not going to be easy but rest assured, there is help out there, if you want it , but why wouldn’t you?

There are so many “people” out there. Experts (that’s what they call themselves) who are willing to assist. It can be downright confusing to say the least. It can leave you feeling pretty low just trying to decide what to do!

Let me tell you that now you’ve decided to take some action towards giving yourself what you really deserve your self esteem will rocket and so will your self confidence!

With the right help and guidance (don’t fall into the trap of feeling weak, because you are asking for a “leg up” because this is your first massive step. Don’t fight it, be proud!) You will take control… Get your own hand back on that dimmer switch – the right people will assist you and help you fight to overcome the ups and downs.

Instead of complaining about life being unfair, move on and make the use of it.

.

.

Success is a series of failures that we need to overcome everytime and emerged victorious in the end.
