It is our invisible “perception bubble” that drive us away from each other.

WHY WE LOVE CHILDREN

When will be grasp that we are all one, embedded in the same space trying desperately to minimise and overcome each other in our effort to obtain our version of reality and salvation? All religion, art and sciences are branches of the same tree my friend.

The problem is that we look at “what is” through our own filters. We have been programmed since early childhood to see and experience life, death and God in a specific manner. We see, hear and feel only the stuff that match our expectations according to our perceptions. It is this tendency that forces us to stay in our little boxes. We accept those that believe the way we do as friends, brothers and sisters and reject, vilify and minimize those that fail to pass our perception filter test.

That is how we got separated from each other. That is the reason why we mount this wild horse called life every morning when we open our eyes and fight for our often lonely existence. We have family, friends and children, but never really connect with them. It is our invisible “perception bubble” that repel us and drive us away from each other.

We live in an illusion called life and think we are one nation, group or family, but we are in fact fragmented units that drift through this thing called life. We must strip our perception layers off if we want to really love and unite with each other. We must see things as they are and not as we want them to be.

We are fragile and need each other at earth school. Love and forgiveness is to accept others unconditionally in the moment without his or her history.

Did we reached the limits of our comprehension?

Is the Universe Too Mysterious for the Human Brain?

.

The limitations of the human brain mean some of the biggest mysteries of the universe may never be solved, a top scientist has claimed.

According to President of the Royal Society Lord Rees, questions about the big bang and the existence of parallel universes may be never be resolved because of the built-in limitations of mankind.

Lord Rees told The Sunday Times: ‘A true fundamental theory of the universe may exist but could be just too hard for human brains to grasp.

‘Just as a fish may be barely aware of the medium in which it lives and swims, so the microstructure of empty space could be far too complex for unaided human brains.’

Lord Rees’s prediction has been prompted by the failure of scientists to reconcile the forces that govern the behaviour of the cosmos with those that rule the ‘microworld’ of atoms and particles.

While Einstein used mathematical calculations to build his 1915 theory of general relativity and 20th century physicists devised quantum theory, no scientist has since found the tools to unify the two.

Lord Rees added: ‘Some aspects of reality – a unified theory of physics or a full understanding of consciousness – might elude us simply because they’re beyond human brains, just as surely as Einstein’s ideas would baffle a chimpanzee.’

There are powerful reasons to suspect that space has a grainy structure but on a scale a trillion trillion times smaller than atoms. ‘Solving how this might work is crucial for 21st-century science,’ the royal astronomer said.

He added that there could even be other 3-D universes ’embedded alongside ours’.

‘In theory, there could be another entire universe less than a millimetre away from us, but we are oblivious to it because that millimetre is measured in a fourth spatial dimension and we are imprisoned in just three,’ he said.

However, some scientists are more optimistic about whether humanity has reached the limits of comprehension.

BBC science presenter Dr Brian Cox, who was awarded an OBE yesterday, said: ‘The idea that certain things are beyond us is quite a bleak one and history does show that we can eventually overcome the most difficult of problems.’

If you always turn the other cheek all you’ll end up with is a sore face.

.

Sally’s husband was often abusive. One morning, over breakfast, Hank began yelling at her because she was on the phone instead of keeping him company. Later, after Hank went to work, Sally picked up his shirts from the laundry, ran some other errands for him, and decided to cook his favourite dish for dinner. Do you think Sally did the right thing?

Sally, alas, believed that if she could only create an ideal loving home atmosphere, her husband’s abusiveness would stop. Unfortunately, she was in fact rewarding her husband’s negative behaviour  In response to his outbursts, Hank found his chores done for him and he was served his favorite dinner. Why would he change his treatment of his wife when she responds so positively?

The events that follow an action will weaken or strengthen the likelihood it will occur again. In behavioural psychology, this is called the “Law of Effect” and states that behavior varies as a function of its consequences.

Hence, if Sally is nice to Hank when he treats her badly, she is teaching him to continue being abusive. By putting up with Hank’s abusive behavior, Sally gives him the message that it’s okay to treat her that way. If she showed him instead that she was willing to be especially kind and helpful only when he was considerate and loving, a positive pattern would be more likely to develop.

Similarly, Tommy believed that kindness would overcome unkindness. He sent flowers to his wife whenever she flared up at him, hoping this gesture would put her in a good mood. Instead, it only encouraged her to flare up at him even more. If Tommy understood the psychological Law of Effect, he would not repay his wife’s unkindness with kindness but with a firm, assertive response that clearly expressed his unhappiness.

Keep in mind:The meek shall inherit the earth because the aggressive people of the world will trample their face into it! Despite the Biblical decree, if you always turn the other cheek all you’ll end up with is a completely sore face.

To encourage positive and discourage offensive behavior:

  • Do not reward behaviors in others that you wish to eliminate.

  • Follow actor Alan Alda’s advice: “Be fair with others, but then keep after them until they’re fair with you.”

  • Learn to speak up assertively.

  • Do not reward unkind behavior from others.

  • If someone treats you badly, say so – do not smile and pretend it’s okay.

  • Remember: Think well, act well, feel well, be well!
